The one and only Larry White (Lo-Lo), the master mind of Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles. Expecting perfection, Larry is a tough boss but a true teddy bear at the end of the day. The food, the people, the atmosphere, it was contagious, and it wasn’t long before Larry would start experimenting with his own recipes.

   Over the next 10 years, Larry (“Lo-Lo” by that point) would tirelessly perfect his now famous fried chicken and homemade waffle recipes. He loves his family his employees and of course his Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles. Starting in a 1200 ft house Larry has developed his concept into and multi store franchise 7 stores and counting. He is direct and doesn’t hold anything back.

  None other like him, Pops or Larry White, Sr. to be correct is the one everyone wants to have at their party. He is his friends with everyone and whoever walks through his restaurant doors, you stop by Miss White's Golden Rule Cafe, you bet your going to get a visit from Pop's. Still working the kitchen over at Miss White's Golden Rule Cafe, Pops serves up some of the best original southern soul food you can find in Central Phoenix... or lets just say Arizona.

  When he's not working on making people laugh and have a good time, he is coach his son on being a good boss and praying for his success on Lo-Lo's Chicken and Waffles,  he's the rock we all go to when looking for answers, and he's always got them.

  I work as hard as I play but I don’t play when it comes to work. I am the regional general manager of Lo-Lo’s I make sure all the stores are running smoothly, Stern with a smile. Was hired when I was 6 months pregnant and worked all the way up until my water broke at Lo-Lo’s! Pushed out that almost 10 lb baby and was back in a week! With a newborn, a 4-year-old, a husband and a household to take care of I have no sympathy for lazy tired people. I will never ask you to do more than YOUR JOB and if you do your job you have no problem with me…unless you forgot your name badge!

  My name is Belton Rowe I am 35 years old hustler! I was born in Florida. Where you got it or you got to get it…. With that being said I chose the street life to make fast and easy money. 8 cars 2 houses and a boat later my hustling ways ended with me doing a 5 year bid. Doing all the ups and downs a nice young lady named Lashonti was there for me through it all. I promised her when I got out I would straighten out. When I was released from prison we decided to move to Phoenix AZ, we jumped the broom and settled on down with our family. We went to eat at Lo-Lo's one night and I never left that was in 2013 and look at me now running this place like a par towner…can someone please cut me a check

  My name is Charrae; Rae for those that are close to me, X-Rae-d when I do promotions; but my favorite name is “momma.” I’ve been working for Lo-Lo’s for over 5 years and on the contrary I am educated. I completed bachelors in Healthy Lifestyles Coaching and my Master’s in Health Care Delivery. I too work in the hospital Monday through Friday while working at Lo-Lo’s half the week. It’s not easy being a single mom with two jobs, going back to school and holding down a household but someone has to do it.  I will say that I am one to go by the book. I gave myself the nickname “nice-nasty” because there is no in between with me; I’m either nice or nasty. You get what you give. I’m not at work to make friends but to make sure that

  I was born in Scottsdale, AZ. Parents got a divorce when I was 10. When I was 18 my dad had 2 strokes and 3 heart attacks in one year and my grandmother had Alzheimer's. He became paralyzed and I ended up having to take care of him and my grandmother the best I could. My sister and I decided to put my dad in a hospice because we knew he was not going to last much longer. My had dad passed away after that I grieved for a while and started hanging out with the wrong crowd.  I knew I had to make a flip and get my life together. I started working at a sub shop and met Larry's friend. I had asked him if he knew anywhere I could get a better job because I was only working 12 hours a week on $8.50 and it was not enough to get stable. He mentioned he would talk to Larry and I got a job at Lo-Lo’s couple days later. The rest is history!

  Name is Carl aka big daddy and 31 years young. I have an identical twin; whose name is Michael. That's my best friend and the funniest person I know. We feed off of each other and when we get together it's a non- stop joke fest. Our father was in the military, which made us "brats". Born in Maryland, but spent our childhood mainly in California. I’ve been serving at Lo-Lo’s for the past five years. When asked about my job... I would always respond by saying, " Lo-Lo’s saves lives." I actually enjoy serving as you get the chance to meet new people and make new friends with complete strangers. I also get the opportunity to brighten someone's day by making a corny joke or just being goofy while serving them. When not at Lo-Lo’s, I simply try to live life to the fullest. All I got to say is, “bring my brother back MAN!”

  Well hello y'all, my name is Michael Brandon Avant. I rarely use my middle name but for some reason right now it sounds alright. I am a 31 years young currently employed at Lo-Lo’s chicken and waffles, home of the best soul food Arizona has to offer. I must say through all the video games, movies and books, I'm probably the most interesting person I know. I'm a server and you can only imagine the stories I have being in the waiter biz. When I'm not at the shack I'm usually busy being a home body locked away in my fortress of solitude aka apt 2082. I have three older brothers, except one isn't older he's actually the same age as me, he's my twin brother Carl. Actually I'm fifteen minutes older. Carl is and will always be my best friend; i don’t know exactly what I would do without him. It hasn’t been the same since Lo-Lo’s separated us and we are ready to be reunited!!

  My Name is Eryn and I am one electric young adult. An aspiring musician and vibrate soul I am 17 only by my birth certificate. I am a sophomore in college and am constantly praised on my maturity…until my temper gets the best of me. Standing 4 Ft. 9 inches tall I pack a lot of power, so don’t let the size fool you. Many have tried me and fail…I will stand my ground until my feet fall off. I’m told I will understand a lot more when I learn to listen but I’m not trying to HEAR THAT!
